Created with cast iron pans in mind, this spatula has the flex to be able to fit underneath anything without scratching the pan or its seasoning. The blade is brushed and etched to resist tarnishing and the handle is strong and rigid to resist bending when flipping heavier foods. This will rust easily without proper care and maintenance. 


  • After use, hand wash with warm water and a non-abrasive cloth or sponge and dish soap. Dry immediately and thoroughly to prevent rust from forming.
  • If using on acidic ingredients (eg. rhubarb, onions, tomatoes), wipe or wash immediately after use.
  • Because this spatula is made of carbon steel, it will eventually develop a patina, or oxidation, that will eventually help with rust prevention. Be aware that this looks like discolouration.
